sqETH is implemented as a reward-bearing ERC20 token, following Compound's cToken design for optimal DeFi compatibility.

The underlying staking positions earn rewards which are reflected in the price of $sqETH. sqETH provides a diversified stream of rewards. Indeed, Resquared ensures traditional Ethereum PoS rewards while also providing additional rewards through liquidity pools and restaking services.
